Soundtrack Competition

April 17, 2014

STCOMP

After the success of our local music search last year, we are now holding a worldwide competition! We are producing another of our famous Nilorn UK videos and we want you to be a part of it by supplying the soundtrack.

Whether you’re a singer/songwriter, band or producer we want to hear what you have to offer. Look at it as getting your music heard by a major label…ling company (we apologise for the pun).

Last years winners were THE COOPERS with their song SUMMERS CHILD. The track fit with our summer fashion brief perfectly and gave our “YOU DO THE FASHION” video the sunshine feel it needed. The video containing this track was used in multiple marketing campaigns including a national print ad that involved Augmented Reality.

So…

What are we looking for?:

A track that will fit well with a video, demonstrating classic production techniques. The footage will have an industrial look with a soft focus. Think cottage industry and a traditional hard work ethic.

There is no limit to how many tracks you can submit or even the style/genre of your music. But one thing we must insist on – all music must be your own.

There must be a good level of production quality to your submissions (no mobile phone recordings please) that will compliment our footage.

How will your music be used?

Your music will be the soundtrack to a short film that will be used in national and international online marketing campaigns.

Who will see it?:

Your music will potentially be heard by all our worldwide customers including some of the biggest movers and shakers within the fashion industry. Who knows where it could take you.

How to enter:

Send an MP3 direct to us enter@nilorn.co.uk or send us a direct message on facebook (facebook.com/nilornuk) or twitter (@nilorn_uk) with a link to your track(s).

Deadline:

All entries in by 9th May, a winner will be announced on 16th May.

By submitting a track you are agreeing that the music is your own and you have permission to share all its contents.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via our Facebook page or twitter feed.
