Our in-house magazine, Branding & design, is a successful biyearly publication containing a range of features and editorials surrounding the fashion industry.

Here we take a closer look at one of the articles – Nilorn Bangladesh– and take a look into Nilorn’s new factory there and how our new foothold in this part of the world has considerable growth potential in the near future.

This article is centred solely around our new Bangladesh factory. For many years Bangladesh has held an important place within the garment manufacturing world, with approximately 6% of global clothing exports currently and the potential to grow in the global market. Due to this it is natural that Nilorn now has an office and factory in this area. Nilorn has a multitude of clients in all corners of the world and a presence in this important part of the textile industry is vital to the continued development of Nilorn’s role as a deliverer of high quality merchandise.

It is a natural development for Nilorn to have their own factory in an ever-growing market of textile and garment production. Since Nilorn is part of the industry producing hangtags, packaging and other essentials for garments, Bangladesh is where they need to be. Many of Nilorn’s clients produce their goods in Bangladesh and it is much easier for all parties concerned if the production of hangtags and such are just a hop and a skip away from the garment making – instead of on the other side of the world.

When Nilorn’s own production is established in Bangladesh, time will be saved and we will have a smoother and more efficient operation, which will benefit the end consumer in more ways than one. It is a sound investment for Nilorn to have a factory in Bangladesh when you consider the predictions of a growing market in this country.

Bangladesh is creating waves in the garment industry by being a leader in the push for greener factories and sustainability. Several of the world greenest factories can now be found in Bangladesh, which is good for Nilorn and our customers, as we are leaving less of a Carbon footprint than many.
